Removal of taste, odor and color Granular activated carbon is a bituminous coal with its very high carbon – low ash content constitutes an excellent filtration medium used for removal of taste, odor and color present in many chlorinated water supplies. Its high density with a balance pore structure aids in more efficient absorption resulting in clean, fresh water. Meets AWWA std B604-74 .

It is high capacity, high quality, gel-type cation resin capable of meeting the most exacting requirements of household, farm, commercial, institutional, and industrial water softeners. It is supplied in the sodium form as black colored beads in 1 cubic foot bags and larger bulk packages.
